Your focus will be working with architects and designers at concept stage to have products specified before projects go to tender. This allows you to influence the product selection and have your product "designed in," so you secure projects well before construction begins. You will represent a premium, best-in-class product range that is already highly regarded among architects for its consistent quality, reliability and design flexibility. This reputation provides strong access to key architectural firms, making it easier to open doors and build long-term relationships. The Australian division operates with the agility of a smaller team while being supported by a large global organisation, giving you brand recognition, product innovation and long-term stability. The national sales team collaborates closely, sharing project opportunities and generating leads across territories. Projects you’ll be involved in Commercial office developments and large-scale fit-outs Hospitality and entertainment venues Education and government projects High-profile architectural developments What you’ll do Achieve and manage your sales budget, via building a pipeline of projects and follow up for conversion (this business has high conversion rates) Present solutions to architects, developers, builders and end clients Work with architects and engineers to have products specified at the concept and planning stage Provide technical guidance, drawings and specification support Support construction companies during installation and on-site requirements (you also have technical support for this) Maintain CRM activity and collaborate with colleagues nationally to share leads and opportunities Take advantage of networking opportunities within the A&D community What you’ll need / Who you are Ideally, experience selling and consulting to have your products specified into architectural or engineering projects Confidence in engaging with architects, designers and construction professionals, along with end client consultation Strong networking and relationship development skills Comfortable managing long sales cycles with structured follow-up Ability to read plans or engage in technical discussions is highly regarded Strong organisation, communication and computer skills Saunders Lynn and Company is dedicated to serving the needs of the construction, hardware, and architectural products markets.
